Guilford Fair Parade
September 17, 2016
The Guilford Rotary Club would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in the 2016 Guilford Fair Parade as either a member of a marching unit or as a spectator. The parade will step off at 10:00 a.m. on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th! The theme this year is "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" to honor the many contributions of the volunteers in Guilford. Two exemplary volunteers, Frank Ifkovic and Stephen Page, will serve as the Grand Marshals as they retire from coordinating the parade for the citizens of Guilford after 35 years.

To apply to participate in the parade, please fill out our Application, including the release form, ASAP, but no later than September 1, 2016. Click on "Application" above to complete the registration information. If your unit includes a motorized vehicle, a Certificate of Insurance must also be provided by September 1, 2016. For details, please see #6 in FAQ.

We request marchers be in their line of march by 9:00 a.m., which can be located by pairing the number your group is given the week of the parade with the chalk or cone that can be found on Whitfield Street (or a nearby side street) the morning of the parade. Stewards will be on hand beginning at 8:00 a.m. and will be happy to help you find your spot.

For any questions, please refer to our FAQ. Thanks! We look forward to seeing you at the parade! - The Guilford Fair Parade Committee on behalf of our sponsors, the Guilford Rotary Club, the Guilford Savings Bank, and the Guilford Agricultural Society
